On the Move @ Conchings, Cebu City
Conchings is not your typical open-air carenderia. Yes, it may not be the cleanest with dozens of flies buzzing in your ear, but it is not cheap. They are well-known for bisayang manok/chicken. Don't expect chicken meat that falls off the bone since bisayang chicken is known to be lean with no injected hormones. It is also pricey because there are not many suppliers for this type of chicken. It is definitely not your typical frozen chicken in the grocery. For those who are looking for organic, free-range chicken, go to Conchings.
Get some chicken soup to go with the puso/rice, chicken and fresh buko/coconut juice. Eating with your hands is highly encouraged so don't forget to bring alcogel and wash your hands before and after eating. I assure you will feel healthier (sans flies) after your meal at Conchings.
One whole bisaya chicken. Looks small but very tasty. Don't forget the chicken soup. |
