I don't know why it has taken me so long to make a pitstop at Mitchell's. Now that I think about it, it might have been because of Mitchell's location in Bernal Heights, which I rarely venture out to until one fine night I went on a trip to Ichi Sushi. Because Ichi didn't serve desserts (omg!), I hiked in my heels for a few blocks and made it to Mitchell's last call. 

This ice cream shop has too many flavors that it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted. I pity the guys over the counter since I knew they wanted to close out for the day. I shyly asked for 3 different samples and settled for a scoop of horchata. The mini-hike in this windy part of town was all worth it! The horchata was delicately sweet yet dense just how I like it. This is also the only ice cream shop I've seen that offers multiple chocolate flavors - perfect for chocoholics!
