The Best Boba Teas in San Francisco
When I first started this blog after going to business school, I promised myself that this will not be another food blog full of recipes. I wanted to differentiate it by chronicling my gastronomic travels and reporting about the foodtech scene in the Bay Area. Five years later, little did I know that an impromptu coverage of the opening of my favorite boba tea, Sharetea, on Geary St. would cause so much fanfare on this blog. I am happy to announce that in just in less than week that post shot up as the most read article on this site to date. Now, I can justify and say that I have niche readers who are boba tea fanatics!
As promised, here's my top 4 list of bubble tea shops in San Francisco Bay Area.
1. Sharetea- I'm addicted to the wintermelon salty cream cheese froth galore. I've gotten the same thing at the Boracay, San Mateo and San Francisco outposts. Even though the recipe is different, I still crave for sweet and salty flavor.

2. Purple Kow- They also have the creama with the ability to adjust the sweetness of the boba tea.

3. Boba guys- Besides the regular boba pearls, you can also choose the almond or grass jelly to be mixed in Thai tea, horchata and milk tea. For a more authentic experience, try the freshly brewed teas.

4. Tpumps- Be careful what you ask for, literally. Just follow or ask for a recommendation or end up getting a weird tasting drink. If you happen to be here on a warm day, be prepared to wait inside a stuffy shop, which looked like an old post office.
