On the move @ Ipar's, Cebu
Ipar's is probably the darkest dark horse in the culinary food scene in Cebu. Why? Because every time I go, there's always not so many people around leaving many seats eerily empty. Ipar's is by far the best Spanish resto in the metro and yet people don't come because it is situated on a street where the former-good-now-old-can't compete with newer establishments on posher compounds/gone are the glory days restaurants are on. Evidently, it is on the same street as Beehive and Abuhan and nearby (secretly tucked away on a small street) Casa Verde. I just have to share what my lawyer friend told me about Ipar's- she comes here for business meetings because it is quiet so she can easily hear what people are saying! You get my point.
So back to the food... Order the paella an hour or so before your reservations.
