Birthday Week (Part 1)

It is that time again when I become another year wiser. And yes it was a wise decision to celebrate my pre-birthday dinner at Park Tavern in North Beach because I was able to try their poulet noir! Just check out that glowing chicken- tender and oh so juicy. I was only able to eat 1/3 of the whole chicken since I stuffed myself with their famous deviled eggs (sans bacon) appetizer. I was just bummed out when the wait staff forgot to give me my leftovers to take home. Anyhow, thank you for the buttermilk June birthday cake, Park Tavern!

I also highly recommend Park Tavern for brunch, specifically the grapefruit brulee as shown here.
