I hate to give bad reviews to establishments that seem to do most things right - but not all. Tropisueno is a lively Mexican restaurant and a welcome addition to the Yerba Buena/Union Square area. Food and decor are great, but the service albeit friendly pales in comparison to many casual restaurants. My dining mates and I had to repeat our requests for more nacho chips (very good btw), hot water and our bill.

I really want to like Tropisueno because the seabass dish and margaritas are worth the price. Parking wasn't bad for a weekend as well. I just need to prep myself on slower than the usual service if ever I find myself here again.
