I've spent a significant time traveling during the Ramadan. It is quite refreshing to see how different places celebrate- last year in Istanbul and now in the predominantly Muslim island of Zanzibar, Tanzania.

I didn't get a chance to taste any of the street fare as shown on the picture since my sensitive tummy doesn't travel really well. I can only feast with my eyes and this time through an app called Camera Awesome, which is really awesome for quick night time food photography!

BBQ meat, octupus, squid, lobster, seafood galore!
