I was skeptical at first of coming to 4505 Meats because all I can eat on their menu is pulled chicken and the sides. This is afterall a burger and BBQ place. I'm so glad I got dragged to the NOPA area for lunch because they do have the BEST pulled chicken sandwich. EVER. The chicken meat reminded me of the chicken ham I always request my mum to buy during the Christmas season. I also got a side of spicy french fries generously topped with tangy chimichurri sauce and lemon parsley aioili. Despite the construction beside the outdoor seating area, patrons, including yours truly, were obviously satisfied with their pork shoulder and glistening smoked rib plate.

After that heavy meal, I walked across the street to Bi-Rite grocery and got a dose of lavender and choco mint ice cream to cleanse my palette.  Happy tummy, indeed. The NOPA neighborhood has always been a revelation to me, especially when it comes to good food.
