My Last Course in San Francisco

10 years living in San Francisco feels like light years. Every time I find something new (whether it is a shiny new app, another recently opened establishment, or a new hobby), it fails to excite me. Possibly because I feel that most San Franciscans like the same thing- food, outdoors, nice weather and startups. Nothing seems to stand out...just like the mile of hip restaurants and coffee shops in the bustling Mission.

What sets something apart is to be different. Tucked in the middle of a residential block comes The Sixth Course. It looks like another restaurant with 'neon club' lights on the outside but is really a chocolatier, specializing in truffles of multitude of flavors in the inside.  For $2 a pop, it might not cut out the sameness routine for many. Perhaps, a boba tea after a meal is a better treat but the variety of options at the Sixth Course (other than the truffles), is a better deal. Take your pick from a lemon meringue tart to ice cream lollipops.

The Sixth Course might very well be my last course in San Francisco.
