I'm Going to The Flower Shop
Imagine stepping inside a restaurant expecting to be greeted by the pungent smell of garlic, but instead, a sweet, scintillating smell of fresh flowers bring a smile to your face. This happened to me when my friend in Milan brought me to Potafiori for lunch.
No one gives me flowers these days so I buy myself some from time to time. When I do, I ensure that I smell the flowers first so the smell matches what I want my tiny apartment to smell like. I also associate different smells to places I've been to. The soothing smell of flowers at Potafiori will forever remind me of the bustling city of Milan.
I was forewarned that the chef takes his time in preparing the meals. Nonetheless, the wait was worth it when the rich and flavorful dishes came, further elevating my senses. I highly appreciated the meticulous presentation for a casual, hybrid flower shop and food establishment. Bistro meal at its finest at Potafiori.
